“I became friends with Chelsie through yoga and I talked with other people at the yoga studio who had consulted with her about nutrition and they talked about what a difference a plant-based diet had made in their life. I attended a nutrition workshop that she had in the yoga studio where she featured vegan desserts that were amazing! The information that Chelsie provided about nutrition was phenomenal and I was immediately interested.
I suffered from lactose-intolerance and reflux. I was taking medications for both to control my symptoms. Once I began consulting with Chelsie and transitioned to a plant-based diet, I no longer have issues with dairy and I do not have reflux. I learned how to read food labels which helped me to identify the food ingredients that triggered these symptoms.
One of the best things that I learned from Chelsie in her workshops was about non-dairy milk such as almond milk. I thought I would never be able to drink milk again and now I have it every morning in my protein smoothie. Chelsie has provided me excellent recipes and cooking tips in her nutrition workshops.
